Rep Power: 17  | ..how often is it that you see someone score on their own net? Well, that's exactly what happened last night to my Blackhawks. TSN.ca summed it up nicely... "A terrible mistake by Chicago defenseman Alexander Karpovtsev gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead at 4:15 of the opening period. After Jason Strudwick was whistled for boarding, the ensuing faceoff was dropped at the right circle in the Sharks' offensive zone." "The puck came back behind the Blackhawks' centerman and Karpovtsev took possession. While attempting to clear the puck around the boards behind his own net, he accidentally swept the puck into his own goal passed a surprised Thibault. Marleau, who took the faceoff for the Sharks, was credited with the power-play goal as he was the last San Jose player to touch the puck." That f*cking idiot, Alexander Karpovtsev! If not for him they would have won 3-2, instead of having a 3-3 tie. I say accidents happen, so let's "accidently" send that confused russian back to Russia. | |

Rep Power: 24  | Hahaha, I remember Karp scoring on his own team twice as a Leaf. Brent Sopel scored against the Canucks the other day. I like Sopel a lot, he's great offensively, and has pretty good speed, but he just makes some really dumb mistakes. | |

Rep Power: 24 | Well that event might have changed the course of the game and who is to say that it would have been a tie. Everything that followed that happened is a result of him scoring the goal. If game had of kept going the out come and events that followed would have been different so you can not say that it would have been 3-2 if he had not have scored. |
