Them happy believers

Why is it that people that have an inherent belief in God or spiritual matters always seem happier than those of us that don't? Can you truly be materially happy, as I aspire to be, or does there always have to be an element of godliness or spirituality to you for you to be truly happy.

For example, if you had millions and were up to your neck in bling and bitches, you'd be happy right? But if someone took them away, you'd be unhappy immediately.

Them godly people though....you could take everything off them and they'd still be smiling!!!

You go now....

True. I am happy and am not spiritual. That shit is so far away from my thought process. I am happy with what I do, work, drink, and gamble. I could do it for the rest of my life and be fine with it. I don't expect to live long with all the great habits I got anyways.

I dont find that people who believe in God are happier. To be honest I dont have much frame of reference seen as I know very few religious people. But the one I do know is the unhappiest of the lot.

Men never grow up, they just grow older.

Truly religous people are happy almost all the time. They never take for granted just getting up every morining.

I don't know why that is exactly. I have never experienced that.

yeah, why is that? Surely they have the same gripes and problems as non religious people.

They seem happier because they hide their true feelings. So they seem holier than thou, when they are just unhappier than thou art

thats how my neighbor is, she was wicked snobby and a bitch, until everyone realized that her family is more fucked up than the rest of the neighborhood. Then she loosened up, and she's a church nut

There are those types of people out there. But not everyone who goes to church is like that though. A whole group cannot be judged by the actions of one person.
