I hate the bilingual laws in this country TBH. Fine have laws like that in the East but what does it have to do with Western Canada when New France never reached this far and has nothing at all to do with our history? Making my movie and game cases look trashy with all the damn extra text I can't even read

Im not going to argue over linguistics in the Country but i wasn't aware you lived that far west. It seems as though your complaints are not with the French language but more to the manufacturers of the weights for not including the English instructions. There must be a toll free number located on the instructions. Try calling them.

As far as Movies and games with french text on the cases.. you can always order the plain English versions off the net. Seems as if you are complaining for nothing. I mean i don't sit there and stare at the cases of my movies or games.

Nah I don't care about the lack of an English instructions for this. Like I said if the image didn't catch my eye like the box it was going straight to the trash

Paying import duty and stuff to get the US bilingual free versions would just make me more annoyed about the bilingual laws including parts of Canada where it doesnt' make sense. And games usually can't be shipped outside of the country like on Amazon.com. I am just anal enough that it really annoys me. Especially when you pay extra for a nice CE with nice packaging only to be covered in French. Also been some game delays because publishers forgot the French manuals.

I don't have a problem with French people and have French relatives even. Just don't like laws that make no sense at all. Why we have to have bilingual packaging out West and be forced to take French classes in elementary (Although I think I saw that one has been eliminated). Right up there on the laws I hate list with the day they changed the age of consent from 14 to 16. Trying to turn us into the US I think!

Now requiring stuff out West to have English and various Asian languages. That would make sense seeing as how they seem to make up the majority here. Actually at the rate things are going they are probably wondering why there is both English & French on stuff they are buying.
