What's your procrastination style?

When there is something that needs to be done that you want nothing to do with, how do you approach it?

Do you tackle it right away and get it over with? Or do you ignore it till the last minute?

I always end up doing about 100 things before I actually do what needs to be done. I have never started an assignment before 10 pm the night before it's due. It's just impossible to start it early.

I will clean, cook, talk on monks, and research random stuff on the internet, just to avoid starting an essay.

I'm the same way. Most of the time I don't even do it the night before, I go to bed worrying about it, and then I wake up ealry and get it done..

It's fresh off the printer and into the teacher's hands almost every time.

The difference between college and high school is that in high school, I actually never got the work done at all.

I do everything at the last minute.

I never can get motivated to do the assignment early. There is the odd exception though.

Park the old car that I love the best
Inspections due and it won't pass the test
Funny how I have to put it to rest
And someday I will join it.

Manual things (washing the car, mownig the lawn....all that crap) I like to just do them now and get them out of the way.

Actually sitting down and studying I have a mental block about and have never been able to do anything but ignore exams until the last possible minute and then cram like a loon in the days leading up to it. At which point I swear I will never do that again.....bu always do.

I'm generally really bad at it, but the courses I'm on now are pretty much my last chance to turn my life into something other than burgers, so I've been working really hard at it.

In HS i used to wait til the day before or just never do it at all. Sometimes I'd say I'd wake up early and do it then but that enver worked cuz then I'd end up getting up late so I'd just take a 0 or whatever they gave me. when i went to college I did it all early though jsut to get it out of the way cuz I'm somewhat decent at writing big papers so it was all pretty easy. Now I just do everything usually when I can if its going to be easy but if its going to take awhile ill just put it off.

I wasnt too bad at that kind of thing, always managed to get them out of the way with a few days to spare.

Nowadays Im terrible - if something needs to be done, I always find something better or more exciting to do first and only do the original job when it absolutely has to be done.

Men never grow up, they just grow older.
