I'd be surprised if you did it in under 5 hours to be honest.

Even though we live in Sunderland, it still took my parents a good 4 hours when we used to visit my sister who lived in Glasgow.

Upcoming Concerts/Nights Out I'm Attending:

Status Quo @ Newcastle City Hall - September 27th
DragonForce @ Newcastle Carling Academy - October 8th
Motorhead @ Newcastle Carling Academy - November 7th
Apocalyptica @ Newcastle Carling Academy - December 7th

No we don't drive a rikshaw, we drive a hyundai which when filled with 4 normal size adults, doesn't move like it would when i'm driving it.

And when we went to Glasgow, there were some very big road works that held us up for a while.

Lol, as a young lad I used to think it was 5 hours from London to Somerset. Until I got to 18 and drove myself there instead of being a passenger in my old Dad's Nova!!

I don't know how the roads are over there and how many policeman you have to deal with but I go to visit my brother every other weekend who lives about 240 miles from me and I can make it in a little over three hours. That is driving around 80 MPH the whole way though, it is an Interstate Highway most of the way and the speed limit is 70 MPH.

You should have come down to Cardiff for Wales vs. Slovakia!

Back to the original Question, ye it'd take about 12 or so hours to drive from the top to the bottom of England. You could probably drive from the bottom to the top of Wales in like 3 hours or so.

Edge will rise again...
