Tis autumn nearly and time to work towards our yearly awards, this year I will be your host and compere and as of such I am officially kicking of the procedings by announcing that the First Annual Monk's Awards catogories shall be.......

MVP (Overall contributor of the year)
This can be anyone on the board but should be someone you think brings content to the board which is popular. Content can be opinions, media, humour or even just presence.

Monks maniac (funniest poster)
Again this can be anyone but it must be the poster that is most likley to make you spit coffee through your nose when you see what they posted last night.

nOOb of the year (started contributing in last 3 months)
Well seeing as Monks itself is only just approaching it's first birthday we can't jolly well have anyone being nominated for this. So this award is for posters who may have started regularly contributing over the past 3/4 months or maybe someone who was'nt a Monk's original.

mod of the year (only posters can vote)
This catogory is decided purely by the little people (j/K). No this section is for regular posters to decide which Moderator or Admin you guys think is the best.

And in turn us fat cats will hold court over our loyal subjects.

Monk's hottie (female poster of the year)
In keeping with the board I named this Monks Hottie but it ain't no beauty pageant. We Monkers demand our women funny and intelligent as well as too hot to handle (and they are!!). So this award is for the female poster of the year.

Super Villain (heel of the year)
This award is for the poster who causes the most controversy here at Monk's. It may not be they're a jerk, just that they get people riled up and blood pumping.

Inductee to Monk's Hall of Fame
One person per year shall enter these hollowed halls of legends, who will it be this year??

To kick off procedings I would ask all members to send me nominations in the above catogories by PM. You can nominate upto 3 people in each section and I will be accepting entrys untill mid-september. You may nominate yourself but if you do I will tell everyone you did LOL. After that I will be listing the nominations in each catogory and taking PM votes over the following weeks. The Awards will be handed out early October in a lavish event (don't forget to wear your E-tux).

To clarify there has never been Annual Awards here at Monks these are the first. There have been mini-monthly awards given soley by the Admin of the board. These are the peoples Awards (raises eyebrow) If youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu smelllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!
