This will be my third Christmas as an officer and to be honest we haven't had any domestic violence calls in the previous two years I have been working. Although there was a huge fight at one of the clubs across the track last year.
I have to agree with Necro tbh, it's quite surprising that you don't get any domestic violence around Christmas time, around here you can't get enough of it around Christmas time.

Well most of the actual physical altercations we get around Christmas time are between drunks at bars who aren't related to oe another. Its around the time between Spring and Fall we get most of the Domestic Calls. Easter Sunday and Indepence Day are are worse days for that.
I love Christmas. I love spending time with my family and just the whole festive feel of it.

Always absolutely loved it. Probably the only time I didn't like it quite so much was around age 21 to 25 when there were no children and I was too old to enjoy it just myself.
