I don't celebrate Christmas but it's still an enjoyable time, even for me.
You get discounts in the shops, the good films air on tv, movies come out, holidays, bonuses, and of course, the weather. I dunno I just prefer it cold.
I still enjoy Christmas for the most part. I like the weather and decorating the house, and the 24 hours of A Christmas Story (who doesn't love that!?). I enjoy hanging out with friends. I still "like" being with my family on Christmas, because this year has been kinda weird, so I'm still wondering what it'll be like in the next couple months. But, overall, I still like the holidays but not for the same reasons as when I was younger.

I enjoy Christmas much for the same reasons Dak mentioned. As a kid, it's all about the presents...but now that you're older, it's more about spending time with your family and watching younger cousins, nieces/nephews, and children enjoying the holiday. I'd be curious to see a father's (or mothers..if there are any here) response to how/if they enjoy Christmas now.
For me, I really enjoy Christmas music, and every year my wife and I try to do something 'extra' to celebrate the Holiday. In past years, we've gone to Christmas plays at the theatre downtown, and last year we saw "Christmas Spectacular" with the Rockettes. This year, I'd love to go see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra play their Christmas concert as I've heard great things about it.
Other than that, we always bake a shit-ton of Christmas cookies for an entire Saturday in December and give them out to our aunts/uncles, grandparents, cousins etc. as Christmas presents. Like I said though, the best part is being with family. As I get older and begin losing family members to death, it makes me really treasure the holiday even more.
Christmas is cool when your a kid because you obviously don't have a job to purchase Playstation games and Beast Wars action figures.
At this age, it's almost irrelevant. Although I appreciate the sentiment, I don't see the point of getting gifts considering for the most part anything I want I can afford myself. For everybody other than those with loaded parents, it's pretty much this way.
Once you reach a certain age it just creates a cycle of feeling forced to buy stuff for other people who are forced to buy stuff for you.
What I do enjoy about Christmas is cheesy sweaters, Christmas Dinner, Outdoor Hockey with strangers who are bitter that they never even came close to making the NHL, and North Pole themed pornographic movies.
I don't mind the holiday, dig the decorating, but the thing that annoys me about it is the music, all the stress and cash you spend on gifts for ppl and then they give you the "you got me that" look, and fake-ass relatives.

I hate Christmas and everything about it honestly. I have never decorated since I've been out on my own and when my ex wife tried to decorate one year I grabbed all the shit and threw it outside in the snow. The girlfriend wants to decorate this year and I said no. She cried but she will get over it. Next year I don't have a choice though because I will have to cause of the kid. I still say fuck Christmas though.

I work in a coffee shop part time and we had the christmas songs start on Friday morning and have to listen to them day after day until January.

You're a police officer right? Don't you guys have an insane amount of domestic violence calls on Christmas? That must be fun.
This will be my third Christmas as an officer and to be honest we haven't had any domestic violence calls in the previous two years I have been working. Although there was a huge fight at one of the clubs across the track last year.
