Are you at all environmentally-conscious (in that you tend to have environmental concerns in relation to your daily life) or do you really not care at all?
I'm not sure if I'm exactly environmentally-friendly as opposed to others, but I am a little environmentally-conscious. My family seems to waste so much energy and they're just completely oblivious to it. For example, we have a nightlight in the bathroom that's right next to the lightswitch which is immediately on the left when you walk into the room. So what's even the point of it? I find myself clicking it off all the time because it's such a waste. I'm not sure if that's so much me being Environmentalist Man or me just doing it because it's useless, but meh. I seem to do that with other electronics and appliances around the house.
Are you anything like that?

We try to be as environmentally conscious as we can be, without putting too much thought into it. We've switched the most-used lights in the house with energy-savers, and replaced the windows in our bedroom to "energy star" windows. We have a nightlight in the bedroom and guest bathroom, but they're LED lights - so they use less power. But, I think the biggest thing we do is fill our gas tanks in both cars and then just drive one car for a week and switch, so we're not constantly filling up. The way I see if: if it helps the planet, that's cool. If it doesn't, I'm still saving money!

Our car runs on fumes (we're seemingly always next to Empty), but that's more because we're always broke, not so much that we're oblivious to how much energy we're wasting, haha. Not sure if I'd switch out my windows as that'd be a pretty big investment, but I'd definitely go with the light bulbs. That's something I'm definitely going to do when I get an apartment of my own.

Yeah, the lightbulbs are a great idea because they last a lot longer, as well. We got a discount on the windows because we bought them with a French door that we had installed in the back of the house. Plus, they're the only windows that we can actually open because we stupidly painted the locks on the windows throughout the house... bad idea!

This planet has been around over a billion years, Mankind has been around for only thousands of years. The planet has seen ice ages, and all sorts of destructive conditions. I'm not worried about global warming, I'm not worried about my foam cup killing the planet. We'll be long gone before Earth dies out

Re: Environmentally-Conscious?
I try to do my bit, but it's hard work. I always switch everything off at the mains on a night, and we only actually heat our living room, as the only other room we spend any real time in is our bedroom. We have an electric blanket in there, but only use it on really cold days. I take a lot more showers now than I used to, but that's partly because my room in halls had an en suite shower, and no bath.
I'm a bit shoddy at recycling. We have two massive bags filled with paper that need taken to the recycling pods, but we never get around to going. As for tins and stuff, we're useless with those. Nine times out of ten, they end up going in the bin.

Being environmentally conscious is just a hobby for rich soccer moms in order to allow them to feel like they do have a soul and a purpose in life other than leeching off of their husbands money and doing a shitty job at raising their children.
I'm practical enough to hold onto my trash until I arrive at a garbage can, but I'm slowly falling towards the belief that the global warming trend may just be a fabrication in order to build a viable industry. Truthfully, I'm not informed enough to really make that call.

I think Global Warming is real, it's just waaay overblown. Still, I do think we need to "GO GREEN~!" especially when it comes to our power grid and vehicles. I don't recycle at all mostly because I'm too lazy but also because it's not exactly confirmed if recycling certain materials truly is good for the environment. I don't litter at all, not really because I think it's morally wrong or something but because I just think it's lazy and looks disgusting.
