Do you even care about this holiday? Halloween was the shit when you were a kid, but now that (most of) us have grown up, the holiday means much less. Instead of trick-or-treating, we are now treated to Halloween parties, horror movies, and handing out candy to the little ones on October 31st.
So, discuss your plans for Halloween this year. Are you dressing up -- if so, what's your costume? Throwing/attending a costume party? Going to jump out of your tree when the little kids come walking up to your door? Having a "Halloween" movie marathon?
For a start Halloween is a much bigger deal in the US than it is here. I did go trick or treating as a kid, but you guys care about it a lot more. I really don't care anymore. The only good thing is going to watch a horror movie, usually Saw, even though that doesn't really fit in with Halloween at all.

Sure it does. Forms of ghost stories (Or just horror stories in general) were some of the original elements of Samhain and All Hallow's Eve. It's why horror movies are so popular this time of the year.

Ghosts yes, but not people being killed by traps set by a maniac imo.

To me (and my wife) Halloween is one of the biggest holidays we celebrate. It's the one holiday that we spend the most money one - without buying gifts, etc. We usually try to do our house up as much as we can, because personally I get enjoyment out of scaring the hell out of people (I know... I'm a jackass!) But, this year we won't be handing candy because we're going to a Halloween party as Wednesday and Pugsly from the Addams Family.

Nope, never saw the point. Maybe if Halloween took place during one of the Summer months then maybe I would've been intrested. But walking around in the freezing cold and being given sweets I was never intrested in wasn't my thing.

For me, the night before Halloween we are attending a friend's Halloween party. I'm going to dress up as Marty McFly from "Back to the future" .. complete with white hi-tops and red "life preserver" vest. Haha. I'll try to get some pictures posted on here after the fact.
On Halloween night, my wife and I will hand out candy to the kids...thankfully trick-or-treating ends at 8PM around here. Then we'll most likely go out to a bar that encourages dressing up in costume. It's always fun to look at slutty-dressed women on the one night of the year they don't mind looking that way.
