I see absolutely no point in it what so ever. Like Jake I have never been trick or treating either. My mum used to let me eat the left over sweets anyway, so I don’t think I missed out there.
Nope, never saw the point. Maybe if Halloween took place during one of the Summer months then maybe I would've been intrested. But walking around in the freezing cold and being given sweets I was never intrested in wasn't my thing.
God, I just wanna send you a huge bag of candy now. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
I used to love trick or treating as a kid. Finding a costume that you could love dressing up in for one day. I've been everything from a pumpkin to a vampire to the Big Boss Man. The only day that gave me that special feel as a child was Christmas morning.

As a kid, my brother and I dressed up as Hawk and Animal from Legion of Doom. My mom did our facepaint (perfectly, may I add!) and we had bought the LOD spiked shoulderpads. Of course, they were foam but we still though we were bad ass. Also purchased the old foam tag team titles to wear around our waists as well.
That was probably my favorite halloween costume growing up.
I love love love Halloween. Infact, I like it more than christmas. We don't celebrate it as much as the Americans, but every year I go to the Halloween section of Asda, and raid the aisle of all it's decorations. None of my family care about it, so I tend to just buy the stuff out of my own cash, which I really don't mind doing because it's fun just getting into the 'Halloween Spirit'. And when it's finally Halloween, I rush home from school so I can decorate the house. It was awesome last year, I even turned my front garden into a grave yard because I made these graves out of some cardboard, haha! Days before Halloween, I watch at least one good halloween-related horror film (that includes hocus pocus), and I make sure we have at least 4 pumpkins; we name them lock, shock, barrell, then the biggest, Jack. It's all from the nightmare before christmas, and we carve them in the styles of the pumpkins from the film.
Last year I stayed at home and basically answered the door but it was still cool because everyone complimented the way the house was done up, helps that they replay the Halloween specials of Simpsons on sky one too. This year i'm hoping to go this place called Farmageddon (fingers crossed), it's this place where you go in, and you get chased around and scared by characters like Leather face, Jeepers Creepers, etc. All depends if my mum can get tickets in time. But yeah, I love Halloween, really want to go over to America to celebrate it there someday~

I'd love to get into the spirit of it but no one I know really cares about it, so it's hard for me to get into it. Part of the fun is spending it with everyone else, after all. So it's just another day (nothing wrong with that, I love autumn... aside from the usual cold I get on my birthday), but I do like to check out the Halloween decorations and such at the stores.
@ Noodle: It looks like a mix between Barack Obama, Richard Nixon, and Phil LaMarr.
