Call it stupidity or whatever. But if you are knighted, what are the privileges that come with that? Is there an equivalent for a woman?

I was discussing this with someone this morning, and neither one of us could figure it out.

I think the only thing is you officially get sir put infront of your name and yes there is an equivelant for woman, they get dame.
