So, my car is in the shop to get the engine fixed, and I usually drive him to work. So today, he and I rode the bus. We were well into are busing adventures, laughing at hobos and recalling that none of us have been on a city bus in a long, long time.
These two Asian girls with bikes put their bikes on the front of the bus and hop on. These were some cute girls, maybe early twenties. They're giggling on the bus and find a seat diagonal from Jason and I. Throughout the ride, they kept looking at us and talking to each other. Now, I would feel really great about myself, expect I had no clue what they were saying. Jason, however, has this "watch this" attitude about him. He said "I'm really digging these gals. I'm going to flirt with em." I said "They're not speaking any fucking english. How the fuck are you going to do that, dumbass?"
A lightbulb flashes in his brain. He grabs his iPhone and scrolls through his apps. He clicks on something I've never seen before. It's a translator. He test a word that one of the girls said into the translator and discover they were in fact Japanese. So he begins typing english words to find things to say. I thought this was going to fail.
It fucking worked.
They were going back and forth. He said funny stuff in Japanese, it made them laugh. They came closer and began to spoke a bit english they knew. Before we got off, they gave him their number. They were staying with relatives for the year and, as far as I know, they really weren't aware of his secret.
I would have never thought of that, being as gullable as I am.

Yeah, they were pretty good looking chicks. Really didn't pay much attention to me but I got the "he so cute" thing like twice. I was accidently playing the shy card.

Like I said, he's a risky kind of guy. He'll do that sort of shit. I wish I could live like that sometimes if I did'nt have this fear of messing up. Plus, dude has fast fingers.

Constantly using a phone to try and work out what someone is saying definitely won't become tedious.
Yeah especially seeing as it is his phone. So you won't be getting any action Mr. Talent. Or that is the way the cards look to be dealt.
