If you would get a call from the United States government saying you won a random drawing to be the president of the united States for one day....what would you do?
My first thing would be to not bailout any more companies. I know that this would cause a major loss of jobs and what not, but sometimes you just need the company to fall. We need new fresh people and fresh new companies, and why wait for this company to fall somewhere down the line?
Second, i would completely close the Mexican border. Now, let me make this disclaimer, I am not discriminating against mexicans as i am one. However, we can not afford to have all the illegal people in here. We need to give our people jobs that the illegals currently occupie. I think we also need to push Americans not to be affriad of working in a field or working construction. Most Americans are like, "I have a Masters, i can be working as a janator", but wake up, its a job.
Lastely, I would take away inmates rights to work while in prision so that we can create more jobs. I would contract the companies that currently employ all these inmates, and contract them for work for the American people.
What about you?

My WWE Universe NOC is UP! Check It Out! Credit and Thanks to: Doctor Doom for Banner. AWESOME DUDE!
Here's what I would do if I were to be President for a day.
- Boot all of the morons from the House & the Senate for making negative choices for American and for our people. That means getting Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and all of the Republicans that got no balls and Democrats who are anti-war, aging, hippies who aren't making the right decisions.
- Allow illegal immigrants to work, but not live here in America. After they get done doing their jobs here, they can go home and pay their bills, put food on the table... you get the picture.
- Vote against releasing prisoners from Guantanamo Bay on American soil. That's fucking insane for those who want the same cold-hearted, some who were masterminds of 9/11, to be released on American soil. I can imagine of what mayhem this would be if Obama releases the most cold-hearted prisoners, I don't want to discuss it.
Those will be the three major things I would do if I were President for a day.

I would give the power back to the states where it belongs.

I'm not sure I agree with you Dak, Canada has the most de-centralized federal state in the world (or at least top 3) and it doesn't bring happy rainbow sunshine.
What it does bring is a lot of bickering, a lot of judicirial review of what the provinces have control over and what the federal gov has control over.
It creates bickering because the provinces cannot support most of the programs on their own and need the feds to deliver money but then not allowing the feds to have any say on how the money is spent.
A strong state/province isn't going to solve all the problems, and it creates a lot of unneccesarry headaches.

That is the way this country was founded though. Our founding fathers never intended for us to have a strong centralized government. We were in fact a Confederacy which just means an alliance between persons, parties, states, etc., for some purpose.
How well it works doesn't matter to me. I don't want a centralized government making my decisions. I want the states to decide.
That is just like the issue of medical marijuana. That state of California legalized it. The Feds were coming in and raiding State ran facilities and seizing the marijuana. It should have never happened. The state made the decision. The Feds should keep their noses out of it.

Before I get into this I want to make sure one point otherwise I'm not going to bother with this argument.
Are you talking about completely giving over all power to the states with the central gov having no power?
Or do you allow in your argument the central gov to still have power to tax and make laws?
Bc if it's the former I'm not going to bother because you're asking for the impossible then and it's no point in arguing it.
My argument is based on the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
I don't want to do away with the Federal Government, I think they should just be far less powerful. The states should be able to decide issues such as legalizing medical marijuana, de-criminalizing marijuana, gay marriage, etc....
