Best thing to happen to you this year

Pretty self explanitory in the title really.

What is the best thing that has happened to you over the course of the year so far?

I'll have to have a think on mine because I really can't actually recall anything that good, and if I can't remember then whatever it is, isn't that good really.

I would say that the best thing that's happened to me so far this year has been me spending time with my dad back in January for almost a full week. I don't get to see my dad much and that was special to me.

The second best thing would be my ex-girlfriend calling me back last week after I had called her for the first time in a couple months. She wanted me to leave her alone but last week I just got the urge to call her, I did, she called me back a couple hours later, talked for awhile and then she called again last Thursday, talked for two hours. She said she thinks we'll see eachother again, just isn't going to plan anything at the moment so this could lead to us possibly getting back together although I have very mixed feelings about it. I told her that this time around I would give her the space she needed, no pressure so now I'm just waiting for her to call again. Not sure when she will but she said she will. I'm trying to be more patient this time around.

I'd say meeting my girlfriend but I met her on December 27th. We did start dating on the 1st of January. The next which is tied right up there with her is finding out I am going to be a daddy.

The best thing to happen to me this year would be this one conversation I had with my mom. We've always been like sisters, sadly we fight like we are too. So we had this really deep conversation. I love it.

For me its getting into one of the music schools I really wanted to get into. Later that week I found out I was awarded a $7500 scholarship that I applied for back in the fall.

I would put my friends 18th up there too. We went to a hookah bar with him, another friend, and me. For a good three hours it was just constant laughing.

Prom should be up there too, because I really got close to this one girl. But we're kind of on the fritz right now, so it isn't has highly regarded as I would hope.

Oh, and Graduation is on Thursday for me. That will easily be one of the best moments of the year.

Have to say going out with my current girlfriend. We were pretty close friends from November last year but didn't start dating until February. Made it even more better since i had a bunch of relationship problems with another girl in the months leading up to us going out.
