Well I'm not sure whether everyone has a person to look up to, but I'm sure most of you have. Can be anyone from family to close friends to maybe even a celebrity.
I personally look up to MMA fighter Ross Pointon who I now see as a friend of mine. He hasn't had the best of MMA careers in terms his record, but I admire the journey that he has taken during his career and is still taking now. He has trained over numerous parts of the world, including being on the 3rd season of the Ultimate Fighter. I look at it as someone who has lived around my general area all of his life that followed his dream and achieved it, he has fought in a UFC octagon, he didn't last long but he got there. It really does for me just put into perspective that dreams are achievable.
So, who do you look up to most?

Sorry to be a downer, but I dont really look up to anyone. Everyone in the media seems to have lost touch with the world, and sports stars are human too. As we've seen with Kobe Bryant, Michael Vick, and Quinton Jackson, sports stars can make serious mistakes just like the rest of us. Someone once told me that people should look up to their parents, but my father split on my mom while she was pregnant with me, my mother formed a drug habit, and my step father was abusive. I really enjoy spending time with my friends, we have a ton of fun together, but nothing we do should be looked up to. Most of it is pranks, without caring about the people on the other side of the prank.
I suppose that I admire children. I have rottweilers and the kids around here arent scared of them at all. My neighbours look down on me because I live in a well off neighbourhood, but I act all ghetto. (Tattoos, music I listen to, the way I dress, the mods I make to my cars, the things I eat, my interests, and so on.) Many of the neighbours dont want to talk to me or my family for that matter. These kids though, they run up and pet my dogs, they talk with me, they want to help me while I work on the cars, and what have you.
Robert Downey Jr. The guy has came back from serious convictions, blames, and flops to play Iron Man, a black guy, and Sherlock Holmes in two years. He has had an unbeliveable journey.
Also, Brann Dailor of Mastodon. The guy is one of the best song writers. He's also gone through family pain like myself.

I look up to my father as he's always meant a great deal to me. He actually listens to me speak and is a positive person who is level headed about issues while my mother is just one extreme to the next, she doesn't listen as she always turns conversations around into whining about herself and is a very negative person.
The second person I look up to his the late great George Carlin. The man was my hero and someone who helped form my outlook on society, life and many other issues. The man was just brilliant in anything he did. I first found out about him when I was about twelve or so and ever since then he's always been my favorite comedian. Most people laugh at me when I say that one of my main heroes is a comedian but Carlin was more than a comedian, he was a philosopher and one of the greatest thinkers this world has ever seen. I can't believe it's already been just about a year since his passing.
Rest In Peace
George Carlin May 12th 1937 - June 22nd 2008
