There's been some talk of sending them to a New York facility, the super max prison in Trenton, Colorado only has one open bed so it's not like you can send a lot of people there.
I think there is more than one super max. I could be wrong though.

I read a reuters article yesterday and the tone of the article made it sound as if there is only one like the one in Colorado, though I could be wrong as well I'll try to find out.

You are right. There is only one Federal supermax prison.

Obama just asked Australia to take some Chinese Muslim Nationals because they fear if they send them back to China the Chinese gov will improsen or execute them.
lol how ironic to ask a country founded on criminals to take some criminals who havent had a proper trial to determine if they are criminals.... Wait, what?
Considering the massive cluster-fuck that Guitmo has been, shutting it down is the right decision. Transport all prisioners to the US and give them a fair trial, release those who need to be released back the countries from which they came and imprison the ones that are guilty within American prisons... Conversely, you could also set about making more room in prisons by releasing those with minor offences (such as drug posession) and giving them community service and counselling to help them get over drug addiction or any social phobia's they may have. That said, I don't know what the prison system is like in the US. I know us Brits are locking people up left, right and centre without a thought to whether it's actually logically and worthwhile.
