Shit's still pretty chilled in Australia, but we're starting to get the 'how to protect yourself from swine flu' type news shows.. pretty lulz. I don't believe we've had any actual cases yet, but apparently it's inevitable that we will.
The person who died in Houston was a child from mexico that traveled there to get treated
However cases are springing up all around here in Texas in the Metroplex, it's really getting out of hand

We actually had school closings in my area because there were two 'potential cases' of swine flu in one of the schools. They haven't even confirmed the damn thing and they're closing ALL public schools in our area for like 3 days.

It will amount to nothing like all the other ''global pandemics.'' It's a case of the media blowing everything out of proportion yet again. People outside of Mexico shouldn't be worried at all.
I still think this flu is a result of America testing biological weapons. Same with China and SARS.
I don't see why this is called a "global pandemic." HIV/AIDS is a global pandemic and more fatal than this virus and people are panicking over the Swine Flu Virus that's non-fatal. Anyone in the US should avoid listening to the media reporting this.
