This isn't usually a step taken when its nothing. I'm not saying its the end of the world, but people are dying from it. And unlike SARS, its not just elderly and sickly who are dying, but apparently younger people as well.

People are being tested here in Ireland now. This country is a jokeshop. There is no way if it turns out to be swine flu that we could stop an outbreak, the country really is a jokeshop. I say nuke us

It's being overexaggerated. Conditions and healthcare down in Mexico aren't exactly like those of US, so they'll have more deaths clearly.
We had this situation with bird flu and SARS..... that didn't turn out to be any pandemic at all.

Jasmine beat me to it. Mexico have horrible health conditions, so way more people will die from it. There will be some deaths in the United States and other countries (not sure which ones have it), but it won't kill the masses or anything.
