Who here is a fan of amusement parks? Do we have any coaster enthusiasts here? If you like them, how often do you go, which type of rides do you like most and what is your absolute favorite park and favorite ride?
I'm a fan of them, although I only recently started going for the first time since I was a little kid, so riding the big rides is a new experience. I like coasters but I've only been on a few so I'm not quite Mick Foley yet.
Favorite park is probably Alton Towers but its not like there's a huge selection here in the UK. Only been to like 3. I would love to go to some of the American ones. They look awesome. Cedar Point ftw.
Favorite Ride: Nemesis at Alton Towers.

Just went to Thorpe Park a few days ago and Saw: The Ride is pretty awesome too.

I live a matter of miles from Alton Towers so I have been there a hell of lot of times.
The best is Nemesis I agree but depending on how full the park is and how long it takes to get on Oblivion is the key, once after waiting in a big que is a little dissapointing but when it is empty on a week day and you can go on over and over it's awesome.

Kingda Ka looks ridiculous. Its just a slightly taller, faster version of Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point though. I would say Top Thrill Dragster is more intense because its still over 400 ft and it only has lapbar restraints.
