I was wondering how many church go-ers we have here. How often do you guys/gals go? As bad as it sounds, I was dragged to church when I was a kid and hated every minute of it. Plus I had to do Sunday school after the service...it was about 3 hours every Sunday, It's probably why I don't go today, plus it doesn't help that I really don't believe in God, but that's a different topic for another day.
I went this Christmas with my mother who wanted me to go with her, she said it's all she wanted this Christmas so I went (awww). It wasn't that bad now that I'm a but more grown up, but I couldn't see myself attending every Sunday. As childlike as it may sound, it's just boring...Although, I felt better after it was all over with myself.
I haven't been to church since I was little, but back then I had been going every week without much fail for 8 years. Eventually I honestly just got bored of it. I do still believe in God and consider myself religious, however.
I think it's kind of BS how people say if you don't go to church you wont go to Heaven. I don't think it should matter where you are and where you have to be in order to go to the gates. If you believe in him and stay out of serious trouble you are probably fine.
I think there probably is a God, but the last time I went to church was my uncles funeral. Can't remember the last time I went before that. I did used to go to Sunday school as a child with my very religious friend & his mum. My parents were never very religious though.
I used to be a churgh-goer when I was little. I don't remember how I got into going to church, but I grew out of it when I was 11.
I also hate of how religious people getting into other people's business and attempting to change them by going to their church. People that say, "If you do this or that, you go to heaven or go to hell," screw that, do what you feel what's right for you. For me, I want to do mostly good things, but I will do bad things along the way.

I want to be religious I really do, but its so strict. Even though I can go and confess to a priest and have my sins washed away my minf goes, "Wait, who does this fucker go to when he sins?" Sometimes I think I'd rather just say a God doesnt exist and go on with my life. I havent been in a church since grade 7. I think that was the early 90's...
I used to go to catholic church every sunday with my nan, but then she decided she was too old to keep going so I stopped. I occasionally went to midnight mas on chistmas eve but stop doing that too. I haven't been since I was about 12, I still beleive in god, but don't feel the need to go to church.
