Well the easiest way to describe it for me is that I believe in a supreme spirit, but I don't believe in the lies of men. You see what's written in the bible about Jesus, and what people say Jesus embodied. It's said he was about love, and peace, and forgiveness. The Ten Commandments says "Thou shalt not kill", and "Love thy neighbor." Then you see how so called "Christians represent these ideals. They hate, they murder, engage in war, bathe the world in the blood of children, persecute women, and never forgive. I decided early on despite my Catholic upbringing that I wanted nothing to do with the kind of God, or church that inspired such poisonous behavior.
My concept of God is that it is a dual entity that honors both male, and female as both are equal halves to the whole. This God loves ALL it's children be they human, or beast, and it doesn't care what church these beings belong to, what color they are, their gender, sexual orientation, or what species they come from. All are connected to this supreme being through spirit, and it loves them just the way it chose to create them. I also believe that the concept of the big bang, and science can co-exist with the concept of a God. I believe the gift to learn, and apply science was a gift of wisdom given by God. We just have to learn to stop abusing these gifts we have.
