Probably a cultural thing. I'm pretty sure that in general, Americans are more religious and take religion more seriously than Brits. I don't know anybody who attends church.

Yeah, must be. Everyone I know has been to church/goes every week. My friends don't, but their families/relatives do.

Only time I've ever been to a church is when I was in Primary school and they took us there once just to see inside and that is seriously about it.

I think it is pathetic some people are forced to go.. I mean, if you don't get anything out of it, why go? It should be a choice no matter what age.

That's true. I think many people lose faith because they don't agree with how people go about using it. Personally, I believe in a god, however I disagree with almost all of organized religion.
