Youtube has crawled upon the Internet over the years and now has a cult following...if you want to call it that. A lot of people use it everyday for things they need and or just want to enjoy. My question is: Have you ever used Youtube to learn how to do something? Maybe a craft or just something in a video game, if so what? Do you use it on a regular basis?
I use it for video games a lot, as I usually get lost or want to view glitch or something. I have used it for some pluming issues I was having, and it worked to my amazement. I'd say I use it almost everyday, due to boredom mostly.

Re: Youtube
um, I definitely wouldn't say Youtube has a "cult following". With it being one of the most visited sites on the internet, it's pretty mainstream.
I used it years ago to learn songs on guitar. There really aren't any people on it that do good tutorials though. I think this is kind of lame, but I know people who use Youtube to learn new hip hop dance moves. People I know also use it to figure out how to use certain software.
My main use of it is listening to music. Even songs which arn't singles and don't have a video, they are nearly always on youtube just with a picture of the album cover or something lol. It is useful for finding music and listening to it.
Other than that, just comedy clips, soccer goals, wrestling etc. I don't really learn anything on it besides using it for video games a little in the past.

I listen to music, watch old movies like Cool Runnings, comedy videos like Smosh, sXePhil & Chad Vader, and I watch the internet drama over religion and other stupid shit like " I fucked your wife!"
I've been on it for over 2 years and go on it several times a day. My fav YT legends are Geriatric1927 (Peter) and The Iron Sheik (represented by Manican2000). It's great for watching soooo many things.
I have used it to learn a few songs on the guitar.
Other than that I just use it to listen to music.
