(I'm a waiter) I've about had enough......today, which is a saturday (our busiest time). ...after closing time.........I can hear my older workmates (30+) talking about my lack of effort (which is a little true) --- more I give a damn about how things are --- that I take time cleaning up, washing the glasses etc.... .....they say I'm not observant enough (again a little true).... .....and I got told off by my head waitress' white boyfriend (earlier in the day) that don't care.... .............I just don't care anymore more about this fucking job.... It's too much for me.........6 days a week 3pm-12am... It ain't easy mainly cuz I have to translate what customers want into Chinese (for the cooks) and the people I work with are like distant relatives. Any suggestions.........and I lodge with my other boss who runs the restaurant........meaning I don't live at home. Did I also mention I was forced into this pretty much by my mother? Anywayz that's beside the point.......at the time I had an interview for training to become a website designer --- but gave it up to be here. I want to quit but not yet.....give it till mid August then I'm off....add this shite job on my CV. Anyone any help? |
