Your own religion
I am sure we have a few posters here that are, at least, fairly religious people.
All I'd like to know here is, have you "investigated" other religions or have you been given the religion you had as a child and stuck with that one.
I am just interested since, my own experience, is that people don't "shop around" with their religion in the same way they do for other important things in their life. It could be you were raised catholic, but really you believe and have idealogies more akin to buddhism!!
Has anybody here actually changed religion?

I took world religion in grade 11 which was 1998? I actually wanted to become a Muslim as that religion made the most sense to me. But then I looked at the Arab world and realized I didnt care enough about religion to even be arsed to change.
I was raised Christian and am now more of a Deist, if you can even call that a religion. I consider myself spiritual, just not religious, if that makes sense. I've read the Bible, part of the Koran, the Bhagavad Gita, and lots of Buddhist texts. I've taken lots of good things from all of them, but don't subscribe exclusively to any of them.

I have belief what happened in the bible is real, but as for the higher power/spiritual being.... no, I believe that isn't real. I respect peoples beliefs as I know quite the religious people because I understand it really.

Yes, I have a GIF of two women kissing.
Yes, it's hot. Yes it's Megan Fox kissing another woman from Jennifer's Body. Yes, it's hot... owait, I already said that. Yes, I'm aware this makes me sound like a total lesbian. But this scene? UNF.
Christianity is for me. Like anyone else, I still have sins but I always believe I can be forgiven for them. Whenever I doubt the existence of God, I'm always able to recover my faith somehow.
