Our server had a slight heart attack due to excessive stress and heavy loads. It just hung up hard, but we are all set now. People don't realize that these numbers that WC does with guests are 100% legitimate and nothing is faked or manipulated with. With that said there are sometimes simply.........too many people viewing the site.
It's a catch 22 for us as well. Google can't index forums that are closed to guests and that hurts our amazing rankings in dozens of terms, but we close them up to encourage people to sign up then we will eventually lose those google guests because google doesn't like our site as much. What to do.....what to do......
Sorry to say though that all of yesterdays posts are gone forever into lala land.
So consider WC pulled a "Hiro" and went back to Thursday and missed Friday, but now it's Saturday again. haha
Ok.........so again. Sorry about that.
We are looking into a better, but much more expensive server. This would only be done if we obtain more advertising (non-obtrusive, don't worry) and overall more income to WC. The next step up for us is a major difference in price, some of you would probably not believe what we pay now anyhow. (don't ask) haha.
Stay tuned. We don't want you to be without your Dub C for extended periods of time.
Also rep Felix when you get a chance. He got WC back up running after hours of restless time in front of the PC late last night and early this morning.
