Yeah, I agree. They are pretty annoying and very few ever get responded to.
Most of them sign up to look at the Celebrity pics and never respond to any threads.

I'm not a fan of them myself either as I've mentioned to a few previously. It's basically just spam. Post Felix's little introduction tidbit in one thread and those that are actually interested in becoming a poster will most probably read this and can then make their own introduction thread...

I think Felix has set it up as an automatic message that is created when a new member signs up. I like the idea, it's just a shame that the majority of new members do not post that much if at all.
