So I thought I would give you guys the heads up before WC just closes for upgrades and you come back to something way different.
So brace yourselves...lol
Vbulletin 4.0 is a MAJOR change from all the current Vbulletin boards out there.
Unfortunetly while there are tons of great new features, it will take a bit before people code up new mods to be used on the new version and then there may be some bugs.
The only thing I can think of that would potentially really affect people's day to day happenings here is a shoutbox. It could be a bit before someone creates a new plugin for 4.0.
With that said, the pros far outweigh the negatives.

I am still looking into how much this will effect the current setup. I imagine awards would have to be redone. Perhaps usergroups, rep power, vcash etc could be affected as well. The details are a little sketchy at this time but we will find out as much as we can before this change is made and will make sure everyone gets back what they had before.
This will also give us a chance to wipe out any potentially broken/altered files that could have gotten borked over the years with the mergers of WH and WS. All in all, WC will be one of the first in the neighborhood with the flashy new wheels and I expect the speed of the forum to pick up dramatically.

I think everyone should show some appreciation toward you. Spending lots of money out of your pocket to keep on the cutting edge of foruming. You are a great man, and provided me with countless hours of entertainment. Thank you for everything, all the hard work. And to the team in general including Felix. Great work.

That's why he keeps this place well organized. DD worked hard to make the forum for what it is and it will continue to grow as the forum improves more and more. Everyone has to appreciate him (and Felix) or get the fuck out and never comeback. He didn't spend all the money to turn WC into a circus, he spent it on a community with good people and their opinions. Thank you DD.
