Its pretty lame that I have to say this, but I fell like I do. "Dont ban me, this is really a serious question."
To share my opinions on the forum and certain member of the fourm ( Including staff) Do I have to do it via pm to a staff member or can I just go to the Lion's Den and rip shit up?
I ask this because Flippy gave his opinions on the forum and was banned. I have some issues with a few members here, and I thought the Lions Den was the spot to let them know. However, if sharing opinions is going to get people instantly banned, I'd rather not make the thread.
It says so that it can be addressed in the staff room. My issues have nothing to do with staff decisions, well not really. It really doesnt need to be debated in the staff room, where I am unable to see or recieve any reply that I can respond to. If I PM it, I bet I'll get infracted for flaming.
What I don't understand is that obviously the staff is aware of their own incompetence, which is why they don't explain their actions or even let it be open for discussion, so why not find a new mod team? Mods that can justify their actions instead of trying to cover up their shitty decisions by banning people and deleting posts? Just seems like common sense to find new mods, IMO.
Why do staff members differ to regular members? if someone has an issue with another user, regardless of their status, shouldn't they have the right to make a thread in the Lions den; Its not as if a staff member cant have a discussion outside of the private message system. If someone feels that the thread is de-railing and turning into a complete waste of space, then someone should report it, simple.

And when there is no hope,
"I'll smoke some crack, I'll shoot some dope!"
When theres no enemies,
"I sit and stare at my T.V.
and in my ignorance,
I'll be a slave and sycophant!"
I don't know if we should be able to flame the staff, but there should definitely be a bit more clarity. I don't keep up to date with who is getting banned and for why, but this seems like a pretty tiny forum to be dealing with bannings on such an often basis.

Regular members have no real right to know why people have been banned, thats a staff issue not yours.

No one should be able to flame anybody, Im pretty sure that staff members intended the lions den to be a place for discussion, a place for two or more members to sit down and settle their differences. When you get threads merely saying "STFU" or "GTFO" then that is when a moderator should step in, it should be a place for freedom of speech and a cultural breathing space, not a place for people to flame other members.

Well, I agree, I didn't exactly say that anyone should flame anyone though.

Meh, I guess. Either the staff is really, really, really strict or they're just really, really, really good at putting a stop to it because I don't see where all the rule-breaking is going on. Rule-bending perhaps, but nothing really overboard. So if that's the case, props to 'ya mods.
