I don't understand how to use the plaza. It says I have points, but nothing in my bank balance, or something, adn I can't actually enter the bank at all.

yea, in the bank you can use it to put in your points and then every two days you get interest on your points. its another way of getting more points by doing nothing. that is the basic jist of it. you can go without it though, you don't need it really.
