I don't know, I have to keep going back and forth to see if a thread I'm in discussion in has been replied to and sometimes you decide to start talking in the sb because you like the already going on discussion now you have no idea what was already being talked about. I suppose you could ask and then see if you want to stay but that seems goofed to me.

A suggestion if I may...

Most browsers now have the multi tab functionality...

Maybe open one tab with the chat room and user another tab to browse the forums?

That way you don't miss anything.

Just a thought.

IE6 can get this ability if you install the Yahoo toolbar. It gives you the tab functions.

I'm on fire fox now, it was just way more convienent to not have to do that. My guess is you guys are slowing down was the reason for this move, but I'm sure the song and videos have a little something to do with that.

Also your connection to the room times out, so if you are idle for like 5 mins, you have to log back in.

It was more along the lines of ease of issues as people would not have to worry about Spoilers showing and we could have live room chats for shows such as Raw.

Plus you can have a lot more options in the Flash Chat then the SB.

But I do understand some of your reservations about it.

To be honest, i'm not a huge fan.

Its good for things like a live chat for things like Raw but for other things its impractical.

I don't like the fact that its another window for me to open as i normally have 2 up for monks, 1 for the SB and then one to post but with this, the timeout thing is inconvienient and the fact that you can't see what has been previously said is also annoying.

And there also seems to be a hell of a lot of lag on it as well as i posted something and then 7 other lines came through at the same time which is really annoying.

I have seen these on other sites and i didn't like it then either.

Those be my thoughts

Its worn off on me to, I liked it at first but the old SB was soooooooo much better. this one is fancy and is cool sometimes for PM'ing and private rooms but thats about it.

The fact that I didnt even realise Id 'timed out' on it until I tried to write something was irritating. Thee could have been a whole conversation going on in there without me realising cause it didnt show up.

Yeah I am unable to chat on it because of it's detection of a chat applet here from work. I am not a fan at all and miss being able to talk to peoples on here. TO be honest the SB is one of the main reasons I have kept with this group because I like to be able to just hang there and have fun. i see how this new chat function could be used for live wrestling fucntions and such... but replacing the SB I do not like in the smallest of ways. It takes a HUGE amount of the fun and alure of the site away from me.
