Monk Diners 1st annual “Top Monk� Contest.


I will be running a yearlong contest starting January 1st and running until December 31st. The winner will receive $250 US Dollars.

Here is how it goes. (I will try to keep it simple)

These rules may change at any time, but members will be notified if done so.

Each month on the first a new heat of contests will commence. Different things will earn different “Monk Points�. The member with the most Monk points at the end of each month will qualify for the 2-month season finale, which will run November and December. There will be 10 finalists with the top point getter of the final round winning the prize.

A lot of stuff will be random and can happen at a moments notice. Many games will be laid out for you with specific deadlines, but from time to time there will be sporadic trivia games in the Shoutbox, or other unexpected games. (80-90% of games/point getters will be scheduled)

Each month you will have a chance to grab one of the final spots. You may compete in another monthly contest even if you have already grabbed a final spot. If you have top points at the end of more than one month you will still only gain one final spot, but will also cancel out that month for a finals making your odds of winning higher in the end.

Please note that Monk Diner’s Top Monk Contest will have threads labeled “TOP MONK� and will be posted by myself or will have “Co-signed� by myself with a reply if someone else is helping me run it that month. More often than not I will have all contest threads in my signature.

This contest is not geared toward any one type of poster, but there will be points awarded for stuff you may not know anything about such as wrestling, UK or US sports etc. I will try to run enough contests whereas it will all even out at the end of the month. Here are some things you should look for throughout the year.

-Sports predictions

-Arcade High Scores.

-Wrestling PPV Predictions.

Monk Vegas Money Leader

Most replies to threads

MVP award – Points awarded by other Monk Members.

Much much more.

I think the best part of it will be the diversity of it and that there are 3 different heats if you get low on the scoring chart for either heat.

I think its amazing that people are slow to jump on free contests like this. Where is everybody?
