Is this the most stupid Idea for a sporting event anyone has ever come up with?
For those of you who don't know, it is a cross between Australian Rules Footall (AFL) and Gaelic Football.
Somehow they have managed to combine the two sports into this clusterfuck of a game competed in between Aus and Ireland in a yearly event which is a complete waste of time.
Thoughts?

I'm not sure of the rules of either game, and definitely not of the combined game so I'm not much help on this matter.
I guess they both want to compete against another nation in some form or another but no other countries play either games so this is the closest they can get to international competition?
Daren (common stereotype) might be able to shed more light on this if he's a gaelic follower.

PS's take on it's pretty much bang on. Also I think it's because every other nation in the world realises that running around sleeveless with a mullet looks ridiculous
