Liverpool are leading the race for Villa captain Barry and have made a bid for the England international.
O'Neill rejected Liverpool's offer and he remains determined to keep the 27-year-old at the club as he plans to build his side around Barry.
I Agree with the Gaffa Barry is like Villa's best player he is a good leader and i doubt the move because if he did move to liverpool becuse i doubt he will get alot of 1st team football.
Aparently Benitez has offered three players in exchange, Scott Carson being one of them. O'Neill refused so he obviousally rates him highly & is serious about keeping him.
