Its been done to death but i now feel stronger than ever about it. If you dont think Video Replays will help, you havent been screwed in a big match by a wrong call.
After the happenings in the last week, Video Replay is the only way to go now. Last Wednesday a stone wall penalty was turned down. A replay & it would have been givin. Saturday another penalty turned down. A replay & it most likely would have been givin. Last night a Penalty is givin for little to no contact. A replay & Babel gets a yellow for diving.
Human Error is not an excuse in this day & age. These men are supposed to be pro's yet every week their is at least one big call that gets called wrong. These things should not have to even themselves out over the course of the season, they shouldent happen in the first place. Another excuse is its a hard job being a ref. Thats their own problem, they chose the career of being the middle man & a lot of the time the most hated man on the pitch.
Bad reffering decisions cost teams Millions each year. Put yourself in the position of a team fighting to stay up. They need to draw at least on the last day to stay up, the ref makes a wrong call & gives a penalty despite it being a dive. They lose as a result & get relagated. How is that going to even itself out? It will cause a lot of players to leave the club & the managers job is in question. All because the man in black made the wrong decision.
I said it the last time this was brought up & im proposing it again. Use the American Football system of three challenges per game. Once those three replays are used, you dont get anymore chances. It will make managers think before they use them. It wont be wasted on Offsides unless a goal is allowed or dissalowed wrongly. Penaltys, Offside goals & Red Cards the the only things a sensible manager would use them on.
It would take two minutes maximum for the ref to view replays & make a decision. As a result we get the correct decision aswell as minimal play disruption & the game is fair once again.

I see your point but some decisions are not so clear cut. I totally agree that the Kuyt incident at the Emirates was a penalty, but as an upper league neutral I can see both sides of Babel penatly that was given last night. Personally I didn't see it as a penalty but some guys at work today who are Man U fans actually said that Babel should have been given the penalty.
This is why video replay won't be introduced because in football there are decisions which are not black and white, there is a lot of gray area especially when it comes to penalty decisions.
As a hard core Rugby League and NFL follower both of which have replays, it doesn't solve a lot of problems and in Rugby League is has been used a crutch to bail out refs from making a decision. For example, a ref will go to the screen in RFL over clear cut tries because the players are moaning about a minor infraction which in many cases don't exist. There have been games where the ref has gone to the screen 6 or 7 times which adds a good 20 mins to a game and as Millenium Magic proved last year with the Bulls vs Leeds, it ruins a game instead of makes it better.
I do agree with the video replays as they are needed in football but you Arsenal fans have got to stop moaning about every little thing.
Put yourself in a team towards the bottom of the table, lets say Sunderland, around 3 weeks or so ago, we were not given a perfectly good goal against Derby but did you hear us making a big fuss over it? No, we've gotten on now and done ourselves well by getting on and stringing together a set of results.
Now if Arsenal would do that then there would be no problem but this season pretty much after the unfortunate Edwardo injury you've totally gone off the boil and blamed every little thing on a poor refereeing decision when in reality if you were the great team you believe yourselves to be then you'd do enough in your matches.
And last night you still would of gone out as Babel scored.
So God, i certainly agree with the video replays but Arsenal need to stop complaining and get on with playing.

Video replays would completly ruin the game and the sport would resemble an American sport, the game would be stop start stop start and the TV componies will then end up sticking advert breaks in.
Bad refereeing decisions have been in the game for years and it happens to other teams than Arsenal Daren.
You say it takes two minutes maximum, but sometimes they can be three or foutr incidents in a game, its addin on too much time to the game

I mean when a goal is dissalowed despite being onside or when a goal is allowed despite being offside. I dont mean everytime the flag goes up, challange it.

But a player through on goal, he's left with a 50-50 with the keeper, the flag goes up so he stops, what happens then? The player had a 50-50 chance of scoring but we would never know

If a player stops they are admitting to being offside knowingly. Players who think they are onside will shoot anyway. The only time the wouldent is if they are a good distance away from goal. Six yards out your not listening for a whistle, your picking your spot in the goal.
