So it's upon us... the rematch of the Istanbul final 2 years ago.

Who are you picking to win? I'm going to go with Milan. I just think they have that extra bit of quality that will kill off the Reds. I am not expecting a classic final like 2005. It'll be more like the Chelsea vs. United match on Saturday. Although I hope I'm wrong!!

Well IMO you didn't deserve to win in 2005 so tonight kind of evened the score.

Liverpool were pretty unlucky tonight, they played well and Milan's first goal was a pure fluke but in 2005 Garcia didn't score in the Semi's and AC played better n the night and Liverpool won, this Liverpool played better but AC won.

It would be really cool if they met again in 2 years time for a trilogy of finals. That would be pretty funny.

AC Deserved it.

Not a lot else to say pool were poor in the final third and never looked like winning. Their was evidence to back up what i said ages ago, Benitez is a poor manager. What a way to motivate your players, tell them their out in the summer regardsless. A good manager would have said they are playing for their futures. Play well and you stay ortherwise, your gone.

Kewell on and leaving Bellamy on the bench? Stupid decision, it's ok if your winning but not when two goals down.

You won't catch me saying this often (it helps that i'm slightly intoxicated) but the Soucsers were unlucky this evening. The first Milan goal was pretty lucky, however Liverpool didn't make the most of their chances and Milan did.

I was also miffed as to why Belamy wans't introduced. Being a Welshman I'm obviously bias to see him play, but the aging Milan players would have dreded seeing him run at them for the last 30-20mins of the game.

Ah well it's 1-1, as Invictus said it'd be funny to see a 3rd in 2 years time. As long as United win next years that is! lol

I couldn't understand 'Pool's complete lack of urgency until it was way too late last night. There were like 83 minutes gone and I was thinking..."you do know this is the Champions League Final and you need to score some goals!"

Much as I like Gerrard, he was hopeless last night. Lost possession countless times, missed (an albeit tricky) one on one. Just a really poor game from him.

Liverpool desperately need some better centre forwards if they are going to bridge the gap in the Premier League to being a Title threat
