PSV vs. Liverpool (Live on ITV)
AC Milan vs. Bayern Munich
Roma vs. Manchester United (live on Sky Sports 1)
Chelsea vs. Valencia (live on Sky Sports 2)
I expect all the English teams to go through, along with Bayern Munich. However tonight I think Liverpool and PSV will fight out a draw and Bayern will nick a 0-1 victory in the San Siro.

Re: Champions League Quarter-Final Talk
For me, the games are interesting without being exciting.
Chelsea and Valencia are both very well organised but often efficient rather than exciting teams, as such I think both legs will be compelling and tight but with little enterprise and lots of effort!
Man U and Roma should provide the most entertaining games.
Liverpool and PSV. Judging by PSV's efforts against Arsenal it'll probably be a similar dour gameplan from them this time around. Up to Liverpool to beat it down!
Munich will probably try and do what Celtic tried to do (and nearly did) and just stick men behind the ball and defend desperately.

Fantastic result for Liverpool tonight, Munich got a good away score draw see Valencia/Chelsea going either way, I think Roma will produce the shock of the round, my last 4 are Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Roma and Valencia

Well although Roma are not home and dry yet, they did produce a performance to beat United last night. Can't complain at all about Scholes sending off. There were numerous occasions during the first 30mins where he was diving in and giving away wreckless free kicks. I do find it odd that he still only misses one game for a sending off.
The scenes at the end of the first half were quite frightening to be honest. The Roman police took no mercy on some of the fans. Yes they were wrong to retaliate to the Roma supporters taunts, but by no means did some of those supporters deserve the beatings that they got. For me this has overshadowed what was a good game of football.
I can see (through my tinted glasses) United doing enough this evening, and coming away with a 2-0 victory, resulting in Roma bowing out of the competition. They had a fantastic chance to finish the tie off at the Olympic Stadium playing agaisnt 10 men, but they just didn't take full advantage. Their best chance of going through has gone, so bye bye Roma.
Chelsea have an equally tough tie in Valencia. But when it counts Jose's men usually turn up. I can see them getting a 1-0 victory, which will be enough to see them though. Although I wouldn't bet against this game going all the way to penalties.

Re: Champions League Quarter-Final Talk
I didn't see either Man U or Chelski going through tonight, such a pessimist!!
Absolutely incredible performances from both teams which results in the winners of Milan/Munich being the only non English league team in the final four.
An incredible effort from all three teams in this competition so far, and, it ensures I'll have someone to support in the final regardless.

My, oh my... I don't think anyone could see that coming, and if someone says they did they'd be lying!! 7 wonderful goals from Man Utd this evening. There is no better team in the world than United when they play to their full potential like that. The build up to the Smith goal was sublime. Magnificent one touch football, and then 40odd seconds later they pinch the ball from Roma and score another.
Michael Carrick stepped up tonight. He needs to be making more of those runs which saw him in the position for the first goal. He could be a real world class anchor man in a few years time. Gerrard and Carrick in the centre of Englands midfield could be a force to be recon with.
Well done to Chelsea, haven't seen the highlights yet, but the late late show continues for them. It'll be an interesting semi against Liverpool (assuming PSV don't pull off a shock tomorrow evening)... Will Rafa send Jose and his team packing again in the European Cup??
