Re: Champions League Quarter and Semi Draws
Some good games there, as you'd expect.
Koeman (with Benfica and now PSV has accounted for Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal in the Champs League), could he do it again here? I doubt it but you never know!
I really fancy Valencia (who are just so well organised) but if there is one English team that could match that and outfight them, it's probably Chelsea (but not fight as in a post match brawl kind of way!).
Munich and Milan have both run into form, and Munich (with Hitzfeld back) could be dark horses in this years comp.
Could we be getting yet another Chelsea-Liverpool semi final scrap??

I'm pretty happy with the United Roma draw. It's what I wanted before the draw was made. It's not going to be an easy one, but United should edge it as long as they have some strikers to field.
Liverpool will be happy with PSV, they should make it through.
Chelsea and Valencia is the pick of the ties involving English sides. I can see this one going to extra time. Valencia to sneek it I reckon. Which will scupper all chances of another Liverpool vs. Chelsea european semi final.
Milan and Bayern is the pick of the round though. A tie that is worthy of the Final. Bayern to edge this in the second leg back in Munich.
Damn I ain't been here all week, let me start out this post by asking where the super-team of the future are God????
Anyways as a Liverpool fan I could'nt be happier, PSV who we have an edge over and then a possible repeat of the "premi-final" is always going to raise expectations, as a realist yeah I can see us sunk but I also see us in a last-8 tie against a team we've subdued this season and then a possible repeat of a semi we dominated 2 years ago with a bolow average side.
I'd love to see us end up in the final against United. It would hurt but I could even stomach the defeat so that the rest of europw could see what a real game is about.
Even though im a man.utd fan an all english final would be the best. Every club would have something to prove. Man utd that there trebel was not a one off, liverpool that they can do something right even if they cant in the prem and chelsea that they can win something out side england.
I just hope we dont screw up, the only team that i can see not getting to the final out of all the english clubs is liverpool, PSV came close to beating them the year liverpool won it and this year might be there year to go all the way to the final but i hope liverpool win it and we get a man.utd/liverpool final.
