Blackpool - in the middle of a fine run of form under League One manager of the month Simon Grayson - put the Shots under immediate pressure and in the fifth minute a throughball from Andy Morrell found Scott Vernon, who neatly side-footed past Nikki Bull for his 12th goal of the season.
Two minutes later Vernon and Adrian Forbes combined well and the latter produced the perfect cross for Morrell to glide a header past Bull.
But Aldershot's pressure finally told in the 26th minute when Marcus Gayle had a shot saved by Rhys Evans but co-striker John Grant followed up and he tapped in his 14th of the season.
The Shots opened the second half on top but Blackpool came back into the game with Morrell grabbing his second in the 72nd minute from six yards.
Six minutes later Ben Burgess converted a Blackpool penalty - his first goal for the Seasiders since his move from Hull - after he had been fouled by Ricky Newman, before substitute Mark Pritchard scored Shots' second three minutes from time.
