Finally we look like we have a championship race that looks like it could be interesting. We will see the World Cups of both Cricket & Rugby take place, as well as the old favourites of like Wimbledon, The 6 Nations and all the major cup finals to look forward to.
So, what do you think will happen in the year ahead? You can be as serious or as far fetched as you like. Predictions can be anything from world cup winners to major/minor transfers that you think will happen during the next 12 months.
Man Utd will win the Premiership by about 8 points, Liverpool will win the league cup, Tottenham will win the FA Cup beating Liverpool in the final and Real Madrid will win the champions league

Chelsea will win the title. Liverpool will complain they bought the title. Liverpool will spend a lot of an Arba shieks money on shitty Spaniards and not see how hypocratic they are.
Jenson Button could not win a race if he started 10 laps ahead. Alonso wins again after a close race with Kimi.
Everyone will realise that Rugby Union is boring when England loose in the World Cup. Rugby League tickets will sell more and more.
Half of the football league goes into administration when they realise unless they have a multi millionaire as chairman they cannot buy any player worth a damn.
*Manchester United pip Chelsea to the title on the final day
*Bolton finish 4th and gain a champions league place
*Champions league semi finals are an all English affair, with Chelsea and Liverpool contesting the final. Chelsea win on penalties.
*Chelsea win the League cup, and after the trophy presentation, Jose Mourinho decides to throw the cup into the crowd saying "this one is for the fans."
Football Transfers:
* Shevchenko goes from Chelski to Juve for £10m
* Barca finally snap up Henry for £35m
* Gareth Bale goes to Arsenal in the Summer
* Leroy Lita gets called up to the England Squad
* Liverpool buy Kevin Doyle, but sell Crouch to Newcastle
* Newcastle sign Ronaldo (the Brazillian one)
RUGBY
*Cardiff Blues win the EDF Cup, and I'm there to see it!
*Munster win the Heiniken Cup
*Leinster win the Magners League
*Andy Farrell goes back to League because he was messed around to much by the RFU
*Johnny Wilkinson annonces his retirement from the game due to injury
6 Nations:
*Ireland win the Grand Slam.
*James Hook cements his place as Welsh outside half, after Skipper Steven Jones is injured for the majority of the tournamnet.
*England finish 3rd in the tournament, behind Ireland and France.
Rugby World Cup:
*Argentina dump the hosts France out qualifing for the Quarter Finals along with Ireland.
*Wales give a guttsy performance and finish 4th losing out to Ireland in the 3rd place play off.
*Australia stun New Zealand to win their 3rd Rugby World Cup. Winning 32-31 in the final.
Other Sports:
*Kimi slugs it out and finally beats Alonso to the F1 title with 3 races to go.
*Andy Murray quits tennis because he can't stand the media.
*Ronnie O'Sullivan walks out of the World Snooker final after he's 5-0 down. He says he won't come back so what's the point carrying on?
*Wembley Stadium is finally completed in December of 2007
