Manchester United vs Manchester City

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra is a major doubt after picking up a calf injury. Evra was only able to do some light jogging on Friday and will be replaced by Gabriel Heinze if not fit.
Manchester City midfielder Dietmar Hamann could be promoted from the bench depending on which formation manager Stuart Pearce employs.
Utility player Sun Jihai (hamstring) and winger Trevor Sinclair (knee) are both missing with long-term knocks.

Blackburn Rovers vs Newcastle United

Blackburn striker Francis Jeffers hopes of returning from a groin injury suffered a setback when he broke down again during training. Tugay is expected to be restored to the starting line-up but Brett Emerton (hamstring) and Zurab Khizanishvili (groin) are out.
Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer has returned to training but is out because of a thigh injury.
Damien Duff is also back in light training but is not ready to return.

Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, Jose Reina, Sami Hyypia and Steve Finnan are available again after being rested for the Champions League match in midweek. Striker Peter Crouch has been troubled with a back problem and may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Fulham left-back Franck Queudrue has recovered from a badly gashed shin and returns to the squad along with central defender Phillippe Christanval.
Luis Boa Morte was a doubt but has recovered from a hamstring strain.

Middlesbrough vs Wigan

Middlesbrough defender Robert Huth is out with a foot injury but captain George Boateng is available his four-match suspension was rescinded. Lee Cattermole is banned after reaching five bookings for the season but striker Mark Viduka is in contention.
Wigan are without captain Arjan de Zeeuw (toe) and striker Emile Heskey, who is suspended for one-match.
Matt Jackson has an Achilles injury and is a doubt, while Antonio Valencia returns from a hamstring problem.

Portsmouth vs Everton

Everton midfielder Leon Osman has joined the club's lengthy injury list and is ruled out of the game with a hamstring strain. Phil Neville (knee) is rated as 50-50 while Simon Davies returns to the squad after a bereavement.
Portsmouth will be without suspended midfielder Pedro Mendes but Sean Davis is back after a groin injury.
Left-back Matthew Taylor (back) faces a late fitness test, while strikers Andy Cole and Lomanan LuaLua are still out.

Tottenham vs Charlton

Charlton defender Djimi Traore is out with a hamstring injury and will be replaced by Souleymane Diawara. Centre-back Talal El Karkouri is a minor doubt with a toe injury but should play while striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is close to a return.
Tottenham have Robbie Keane (knee) and Jermaine Jenas (ankle) out but striker Mido (groin) is back.
Didier Zokora is suspended after his dismissal against Middlesbrough but Hossam Ghaly returns from his ban.

Watford vs Reading

Watford will be without captain Gavin Mahon as their influential midfielder must serve a one-match ban for picking up five bookings this season. But veteran defender Chris Powell is available after returning from a ban.
Reading skipper Graeme Murty and winger Seol Ki-Hyeon face late fitness tests on toe injuries.
Stephen Hunt (hamstring) and Kevin Doyle (thigh) have been passed fit to play but the Royals are still without Bobby Convey and Dave Kitson.

Bolton vs West Ham

Bolton full-back Ricardo Gardner is likely to be on the bench after recovering from a knee injury while defender Tal Ben Haim is suspended. Midfielder Quinton Fortune remains doubtful with an Achilles problem.
West Ham's Anton Ferdinand is a doubt with an ankle injury with fellow central defender Danny Gabbidon (hamstring) still out.
The Hammers will also make a late check on midfielder Javier Mascherano after he suffered a knock in training.

Chelsea vs Arsenal

Chelsea will recall Ashley Cole to face his former club after he was rested for the Champions League tie in midweek. Claude Makelele, John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho will also return after missing the game, while keeper Carlo Cudicini is a doubt with a leg muscle injury.
Arsenal defender William Gallas has not recovered from a thigh injury in time to face his ex-club and is out along with striker Thierry Henry (neck).
Johan Djourou (hamstring) is fit but defender Kolo Toure is suspended.
