I love that Owen Hargreaves wants to come "home". To a country he has never ever lived in? Or maybe he's signing for Calgary United.

It's worth remembering that last season Sir Alex could have got Hargreaves on a pre-contract and had him on a free transfer by the time the World Cup came round. Instead Hargreaves signed a five year (ish) deal in January 2006 and now the price to pay is whatever Bayern want.

One excellent England performance later and a player they could have got for free in Summer 2006 is now going to cost them in excess of £10m. Maybe they're "scouting" system that took so much credit for negotiating a short term deal for Larsson isn't quite as hot as they think it is!

Yep it's amazing the short-term memory of a United fan. Barring 1999 the past is a blur. Im sure they dont remember the last time Owen was "home" at Old Trafford before the world cup they booed him louder than the Hammerstien boo's Cena.

Hmmmm i wonder who Keane is trying to bring in, hopefully its a couple of defenders as i think we pretty much have the other areas covered.


As for the Hargreaves & United, i doubt they will put an offer in as Ferguson is still looking for a striker and if he only has the money for a striker then Hargreaves will miss out as i'm sure Bayern are going to stick a massive price on him.
