Who do all of you think will win the World Cup this year? Is it going to be a favourite like Brazil or Italy, a team at the World Cup for the first time in a long time like Czech Republic or Netherlands, or a suprise team like the USA. Thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it.
P.S. The only reason I didnt put England as a favourite is because without Wayne Rooney playing I dont know how far they can and will go.
Post all your results, teams, predictions, reviews, fave players, new etc. In here, the Official World Cup Thread!
first off, England beat Jamaica 6-0, with goals from crouch (3), Owen, lampard and an OG from Jermain Taylor of jamaica.
Wayne Rooney is expected to be back for the 2nd game in the cup.
Ashley cole has been given the all clear following a scan on his leg, a knock which he picked up against jamaica earlier today during the 6-0 win.
Gabby Heinze has been quoted as saying to the Sun newspaper "If I have to kick Wayne Rooney, then I will"
Sven Goran Eriksson has been quoted as saying to Sky Sports "I think he played very well today.Defending well, keeping the ball up well and scoring goals. Fantastic, and it will be difficult to leave him out that's for sure."

Ashley Cole has been given the all-clear to play in the World Cup after a scan revealed that he had sustained no injury during England's 6-0 win over Jamaica.
The Arsenal left-back was also feeling his groin as he was replaced by Wayne Bridge, suggesting that he may also have sustained a groin injury.
England manager Sven Goran-Eriksson said: "The doctors don't think it is any big problems at all."
Jamaica started promisingly but comical defending allowed England to take a 4-0 lead in the first half alone.
Amongst the 6-0 goals was a hat-trick from Peter Crouch.
