It would be pretty hilarious if United won (preferably with Owen scoring the winner) The Fergie smugometer will blow up.

Football is a unpredictable game but i would be very surprised if we win on Sunday. Owen scoring the winner would be an absolute bitch.

With the way things are going, you'd expect a United win. Liverpool however never seem to stick to the form guide and will probably trash United like last season. An Own goal from Owen aswell.

Re: Premier League Preview and Live Discussion: 24/10 & 25/10

I'd Mark for an Owen own goal tbh, As im sure many other Liverpool fans would be.
But yeah That's been Liverpool's problem for years now. There very inconsistent. We beat hull 6 - 0 one week & then lost to Fiorentina like 4 days later

Re: Premier League Preview and Live Discussion: 24/10 & 25/10

To be fair Fiorentina are different league to Hull and it was away, so that wasn't too shocking.

I can't see us winning this game. I don't know why, I just think everything seems set up for Liverpool to bounce back with a victory. I can't imagine them losing 5 games in a row and I can't imagine us winning and going 10 points clear already. I think Liverpool will win.

Terrible performance, didn't deserve anything from long ball playing.

Nowhere near the level that we've been playing at in our past few games.

Chelsea produced an impressive attacking display to expose Blackburn's flaws and claim a thumping win which sends them top of the Premier League.

They opened the scoring when Gael Givet diverted Nicolas Anelka's cross into his own net and Frank Lampard fired home from close range to make it two.

Michael Essien curled in from distance and Lampard slotted a penalty after Ryan Nelson tripped Didier Drogba.

Drogba completed the rout out-jumping Nelson to head in Lampard's corner.

Glenn Whelan struck late to earn Stoke victory over Spurs, who will ruefully look back at missed chances.

Aaron Lennon's curling shot was well kept out by Steve Simonsen, while Peter Crouch's header was acrobatically cleared off the line by James Beattie.

Niko Kranjcar's drive hit the foot of the post as Spurs pressed.

But Spurs, hit by an early injury to Jonathan Woodgate and a late one to Lennon, were stunned when Whelan smashed in an angled shot to win it.

Birmingham survived a late fightback from Sunderland to seal a deserved win in front of new owner Carson Yeung.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's late penalty earned Wolves a deserved point against Midlands rivals Aston Villa at Molineux.

Hugo Rodallega scored twice as Wigan condemned Burnley to their first home defeat of the season.
Only Blackburn yes, but that was impressive.

We put six past Blackburn only a few weeks ago. They are nowhere near the team they used to.
