Re: Premier League Preview and Live Discussion: 24/10 & 25/10
To say Carragher had to go would be an understatement. Also why the fuck wasn't Lucas booked when Evra went into the book without a warning? The ref sure as hell knew which ground he was on.

The Ref did make some questionable decisions but to be fair we did have more chances on goal than you lot did & we took advantages of those chances. You can't blame the loss fully on the ref.

I'm not blaming it fully on the ref because we were bad and didn't deserve to win, but Carragher's tackle was as cynical as anything I've ever seen so the fact that he remained on the pitch is unbelievable.

Just saw the replay of Carraghers challenge on Owen & yeah have to agree he should of gone for that. Oh well referee's make mistakes every week. End of the day you guys didn't play up to standard. Plus we really needed that win.

Re: Premier League Preview and Live Discussion: 24/10 & 25/10
Liverpool totally deserved to win.
United were terrible, and it just showed me that there's a few players over the hill in that team, and some that never were too I guess. We're a couple of players short (at least) no doubt.
Tend to agree that Carra should have walked, but it had no bearing in the final result really if you look at the time the decision was made. Evra was warned first half by the way Tommy, when he brought down Torres I believe, before doing it again to get booked. Lucas had 10 meaningless fouls, compared to Evra/Vidic's more obvious, nearly professional fouls. The referee was poor all the same, but I couldn't see it making any difference to the result. United were terrible, simple as.
Liverpool don't look like a class outfit by any means either though, and that was probably one of the better performances they've provided this season.
It's still a two horse race for the title this year for me (United and Chelsea).

Yeah, I pretty much agree, it was a harsh booking, but just saying he'd been warned so he knew the next challenge was a booking. Silly to dive into a lunge like that.
Berba's was the softest booking in the match, dunno what the ref saw in that one.
