Yeah terrible result for Spurs considering how well they've been doing. They looked unlucky from the highlights. Villa will be disappointed too having taken the lead so late.

I didn't watch MOTD, I'll catch it all on MOTD2 tommorow but from what I understand, the Whelan goal was the definition of on the break and was completely against the run of play. So with that in mind, Spurs were unlucky and even though every loss is dissappointed, this one just a little more so.

They were unlucky in lots of ways. As well as that they had a fair few chances, including hitting a post, had Woodgate forced off after only 13mins, ended up playing with 10 men when Lennon limped off after they'd made all their changes, and to top it all, had a stone wall penalty turned down at 0-1 right at the death.
