Well we always get our overachievers that do a lot better in the league than they are expected to making them somewhat of a surprise package.
Such as West Ham getting a top half finish after only just making it into the Premer League through the playoffs or Wigan who were expected to go back down and have been in the Premier League ever since they came up. The biggest recent example is Stoke because of them making the Britania into a fortress.
It doesn't always pan out though, it looked like Hull were going to be that team last season and then they started to slide down to table and haven't stopped getting worse since last season.
So if there is one which they probably will be, which team do you think will be the surprise package this season?
So far, early indications show that it might be Sunderland in the Premier League but it's still early.
Also, this can relate to any sport, I just use the football as my example because it's easier.
