I think Chelsea are the only British side that should win easily. Liverpool and Arsenal should win aswell but it wont be as easy. United will have a tough time but will probably get the win aswell. Rangers are going to be finding it very hard imo.

I agree tbh.
Out of the harder games Arsenal have the easiest game though, not easy but easiest because they are at home which Liverpool aren't and have an easier team than United have.
Chelsea should win easily but they are going into the unknown somewhere in Cyprus which is a factor in the match.

That's an opinion, but the year that we won it, we weren't getting big wins against the weaker teams.
You've had a few big wins in the competition in previous years, I don't seem to remember Chelsea destroying anyone really.
This is their best year though, in my opinion. They're miles ahead of United, Liverpool and Arsenal as the best English club. I'd just like to see them smash someone and set down a real marker. If they don't win it in the next 2-3 years, then they'll never win it.
God, how's Arsenals team looking at the moment? Keeper still out? Last time I saw them was in the last Champions League match. Are they going to have many players out again like last time? I'd still fancy them at home with their fire power though.
Liverpool should get the win, tight though. I like Italian football, and am trying to get back into it at the moment. There's always the worry that a team won't turn up after a big win. Liverpool to scrape it 1-0.
Let's hope the Ryan Giggs masterclass continues this mid-week. Had it not been for a pre arranged trip down to the south coast first thing thursday morning I would have gone up on Wednesday night. I expect a 2-0 win at home. That's if Foster decides not to do anything silly again.
The only shock I can potentially see is Inters game against Rubin Kazan. Inter have looked a little suspect on the road in Serie A. They narrowly beat Cagliari 2-1 away from home, and could have lost it easily. Also this past weekend they lost 1-0 to (my boys) Sampdoria. Jose will have his work cut out. Let's hope Milito and Eto'o turn up in Russia.
Re: UEFA Champions League Preview and Live Discussion: 29/9 & 30/9
Chelsea should really be getting 3 points here. something is wrong if they don't. Arguably they have the best overall team is the premiership & the easiest fixture of all the british teams. Anything less that 3 points would be shocking IMO. Man U should really be getting 3 points on the form they are on right now.
As for liverpool we should also be getting 3 points on our current form but we have an consistency problem & Fiorentina arn't exactly a pushover team, if we don't play well they could easily sneak a goal or 2 past us. Same with Arsenal there on good form but Olympiakos could take advantage of sloppy defending. Rangers will have a lot of trouble at sevilla. That match could go either way.

I don't think Chelsea are as good as made out to be honest, I think they have had the easiest fixture list so far out of the top 4. They scraped by both Hull and Stoke and were beaten by Wigan and if it weren't for last minute goals they would be behind Arsenal in the table.
I think Olympiakos and Bordeaux took a pasting off of them but your right they don't annihilate alot of sides. I think you are right about Chelsea if they don't win it soon they never will there is a stigma behind them right now so much so that they seem to disregard the premiership at times.
I am thinking the same about Liverpool I think a Gerrard master class will get them a tough victory, 1-0 or 2-1 something like that. I think its the toughest test of this gameweek for the English sides. They are good price I'm between sticking a few quid on them.
I would expect Arsenal to win comfortably to be honest. I think Man Utd will get a 2 goal victory as well.
Rangers will find it hard but still can't find myself to bet against them at home even if they haven't scored in 5 hours of SPL action To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. .
