Alright, so me and Deuce are having a dissagreement right now in the SB. I'm saying Michael Jordan is the most reknown sports player in history. Deuce named off some soccer, aka Football, players that he thinks that are more world wide known. Like Pele and Beckham. I personally never heard of Pele before. All I'm saying is that if you ask a typical American, who has no knowledge of soccer, who Pele is, they will have no idea. They will prolly know Beckham because he's played in the US. But still, Beckham is not more known than Jordan imo. If you ask a European, who has no knowledge of Basketball, who Michael Jordan is, they will know.

I know who Pele is, but really, he isn't all that big. I'd rank Maradona above him for soccer personalities. Everyone knows who Michael Jordan is. Everyone.

I'd say Jordan is more known around the world. Its because in the U.S basketball is one of the biggest sports in the country so everyone knows Jordan. He is basically the best basketball player of all time and also he has probably the most famous brand of sneakers named after him. I am not saying that Beckham is not well known because people around Europe has to know who he is. But i assure you that most people in Europe like the big cities and what not will also know who Jordan is.

I would give Jordan the lead in America, however, I'd be willing to put my money on most of Europe knowing who Beckham is. They probably know who Jordan is too, but not as many as Beckham.
